Aluminum Die Casting

Service Introduction

Aluminum die casting refers to equipment and devices of pure aluminum or aluminum alloy obtained by casting. Generally, a sand mold or a metal mold is used to pour the aluminum or aluminum alloy heated into a liquid state into the mold cavity, and then die-casting by a die-casting machine to cast aluminum parts or aluminum alloy parts of various shapes and sizes, which are usually called aluminum die castings.

Aluminum die castings have some advantages that other castings cannot match, such as beautiful appearance, light weight, corrosion resistance, etc., which make them widely favored by users and widely used in aviation, aerospace, ships, building materials, home appliances, various vehicles and instrument industries. Especially since the lightweight of automobiles, aluminum alloy castings have been widely used in the automobile industry.

Advantages of aluminum die castings:
1. Aluminum alloy die castings have high dimensional accuracy. Surface quality is good. It has better surface roughness and less thermal cracking, and has good interchangeability.
2. It has good fluidity and plasticity, and can produce various difficult die castings with complex shapes, clear outlines, deep cavity and thin walls.
3. The organization is precise, with high strength and hardness. It has good mechanical properties at both high temperature and normal temperature, especially the impact toughness is particularly good. Due to the short filling time of the molten alloy, it cools rapidly in the die-casting mold, and at the same time, it condenses under high pressure, so that the metal grains on the surface of the die-casting part are finer. The structure is dense, so that the die casting has high strength.
4. High utilization rate of materials. It can be used directly without or with a small amount of machining.
